During the inauguration of the King's representative, Hon. Israel Kazibwe Kitooke delivered a speech, emphasising the significance of the event
At the ceremony, Minister of Information and Communications and Kingdom Spokesperson, Hon Israel Kazibwe Kitooke, sternly warned against insulting and disrespecting the Kingdom and its King. Expressing deep concern over the misuse of social media, Minister Kazibwe declared that such behaviour must come to an end.
He emphasised that individuals attempting to take the King to court without evidence would face severe consequences, as the King is not to be played with and would not tolerate such actions.
Minister Kazibwe urged the people of Kabaka to refrain from providing opportunities for individuals misusing the internet to insult Buganda. He requested them to await official news from Mengo, especially regarding issues related to the kingdom.
