Hon. Robert Serwanga addressing the media ahead of the Masaza Cup final at Namboole Stadium

Hon. Robert Serwanga Ssaalongo, the Minister for Sports in Buganda, addressed the media in a press conference at Bulange, Mengo, where he expressed gratitude to everyone who has contributed to the success of this year’s Masaza Cup tournament, which is now approaching the final stage to be held at Namboole Stadium.

He encouraged people to come in large numbers on November 2, 2024, to watch the final match.

Minister Serwanga confirmed that two matches will be played on that day—the first match, for third place, will kick off at 11:00 a.m., and the final match will be played at 3:00 p.m.

He also urged supporters from all counties (Masaza) to maintain discipline on the road and drive safely, as Kabaka values the well-being of his people.

The matches will take place at Namboole Stadium, with Kyaddondo facing Buweekula, and Buddu playing Kyaggwe to determine the champion of this year's 20th edition of the Masaza Cup.

Ticket prices are set at 20,000 UGX, 50,000 UGX, and 100,000 UGX, depending on the seating arrangement.

Come and celebrate the trophy!
