The Katikkiro Interacts with the children before the games

The Katikkiro has urged parents to be the primary role models in raising their children. He emphasised that children learn a lot from observing the actions of others.

For example, if a child grows up seeing responsibility in their parents, they are likely to adopt the same behaviour. If they witness love and cooperation, they will grow up practising the same with others.

Therefore, he has encouraged parents to raise their children by setting a good example, so they can grow up to be responsible individuals.

The Katikkiro made these remarks during the sports day event at Kids and Love Daycare and Kindergarten in Bwebajja.

He noted that although children spend time in school, where the focus is primarily on classroom learning, it is also important to discover and nurture their talents, especially in sports.

Omuk. Edger Watson, the CEO of the Uganda Football Federation, was the chief guest at the event.

The Katikkiro thanked him for being an excellent role model, not just in sports but also as a highly educated and knowledgeable individual.
