The Katikkiro of Buganda, Charles Peter Mayiga, has officially opened the Buganda Ggaggadde 2024 exhibition at Lubiri in Mengo.

He encouraged people to explore various cultural and historical sites in Buganda and Uganda, emphasising that it's unfortunate for someone to be unfamiliar with nearby sites while boasting about foreign landmarks.

In his opening speech, the Katikkiro thanked all participants, including exhibitors and visitors, for their involvement in the event.

He noted that while opportunities don't speak and don't last forever, urging attendees to learn as much as possible from the exhibition and apply the knowledge to improve their lives.
