Today, at Bulange in Mengo, Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga launched the first-ever Men's Convention in Buganda. This event is aimed at fostering the sense of responsibility among men and boys in contributing to the development of Buganda.
Under the theme “The Responsibility of Men and Boys in the Development of Buganda,” the Prime Minister urged men to fulfill their responsibilities toward everyone they interact with, especially within their families.
He emphasized that a responsible father serves as the primary role model for a boy child.

He stated that a man’s ability to fulfill his responsibilities is the foundation of the respect he earns from his wife, children, friends, and the wider community.
The fulfillment of these responsibilities brings stability to families, enables national development, and creates opportunities for equality in society.
The Prime Minister highlighted that a responsible father is the cornerstone of a boy child’s upbringing and serves as a key pillar in fostering a progressive and modern society.
