Omuk. Benon Ntambi in the middle with the katikkiro and other Board members
The new members of the Buganda Tourism Board have been inaugurated. This board is led by Omuk. Benon Ntambi, who has not been replaced.

During the inauguration, the Katikkiro tasked them with addressing the following issues:
Improving the management of the Buganda Heritage and Tourism Board to ensure professional operation.
Developing a plan to attract tourists.
Building a museum.
Fixing the face of the Palace.
The Katikkiro addressing the board members
The Katikkiro urged those responsible for the tourism department in the Kingdom to work tirelessly to ensure that the department not only upholds its reputation but also fulfils the benefits of the Kingdom and its employees.
Furthermore, the Katikkiro highlighted that Buganda and Uganda have advantages over other countries in tourism, especially in terms of nature and infrastructure. He emphasised that if prioritised, tourism could generate significant revenue.
The Katikkiro made these remarks during the inauguration of the board of the Buganda Heritage & Tourism at the Royal Palace in Bulange Mengo.
