The family of the late Yozefu Kalemba Ssajjabbi, descendants of Mbaziira from the Nnyonyi Nnyange clan, gathered for a get-together in Masaka, Buddu
The Minister of Information and Communications and the Spokesperson of the Kingdom, Hon. Israel Kazibwe Kitooke, urged the people of Buganda to strengthen unity starting from their families to enable development.
Hon. Kazibwe delivered this message at the home of the late Yozefu Kalemba Ssajjabbi, descendants of Mbaziira from the Mungi clan, who are of the Nnyonyi Nnyange totem, during a gathering in Masaka, Buddu.
Minister Kitooke condemned the increasing division that is prevalent these days, which he said hinders development because everyone tends to stand alone without cooperation.
He also called upon people to follow the guidance of the Kabaka (King), who has consistently promoted unity among his people, and to foster this unity starting from their homes, within their clans, villages, and in everything they do to ensure collective development.
The Head of the Nnyange Clan, Omutaka Kato Lutuuma Fenekansi, also urged clan members not to sell off land but to use it for development, especially by engaging in coffee farming as outlined in the Kingdom’s plans.
