The Hon. Wamala Anthony urged schools to teach indigenous languages. During the closing of the schools' exhibition at the Mengo Palace, Hon. Anthony Wamala, Minister of Culture, Traditional Affairs, Tourism, and Security, expressed concern about the decline in the use of the Luganda language, particularly when people use incorrect words. He encouraged school authorities to allow children to learn indigenous languages for a better understanding.
The Minister expressed gratitude to the participating schools, parents, and sponsors who enthusiastically invested in the three-day exhibition. He pledged to enhance the exhibition's quality and urged organisers to strengthen partnerships with participating exhibitors.
Hon. Robert Nviiri, representing the Buganda Language Association in the Buganda Parliament, thanked the Kingdom for prioritising the Luganda language. He affirmed their commitment to promoting the language in collaboration with various royal institutions, especially the Department of Education, to address the issue of the Luganda language in schools.

Hon. A.S. Nansubuga Grace Lubowa, Interim Chairperson of the Luganda Language Association, expressed gratitude to those attending the exhibition organised by their association. She promised to strengthen further the program for the benefit of the people of Kabaka. Lubowa thanked attendees for their love of the language and pledged to continue fulfilling the association's responsibilities, including writing books, games, editing documentaries, etc., with the aim of promoting language and culture.
Participants in the exhibition appreciated the program, noting that it helped them connect with the parents of their children, and some were able to get registered to join them. The exhibition, themed "Children's Let's Read," took place for three days from the 26th to the 28th.
