The bicycles that were donated
The Buganda Kingdom, in partnership with its allies, donated 70 bicycles to Kabaka's village chiefs in Ssingo County.
This initiative aims to help these chiefs reach out to Kabaka’s subjects in villages, ensuring the Kingdom's plans and programs are effectively communicated and implemented.
This program will benefit 300 chiefs across Ssingo County. The chiefs from various sub-counties, including Busimbi, Kassanda, Myanzi, Bulera, and Kibiga, were handed sturdy bicycles.
The bicycles were handed over to them by the Ssingo County Chief, Oweek. Deo Kagimu, at the Ssingo County headquarters. He urged the chiefs to use the bicycles to fulfil their duties by reaching out to Kabaka's subjects and implementing the Kingdom's programs efficiently, as per the Kabaka’s directive.
The event was attended by Ssingo County’s deputy leaders and council members.
