The Buganda Kingdom has renewed its partnership with Centenary Bank Uganda following the end of the first partnership contract. The three-year cooperation between the two parties was announced by Kingdom Prime Minister Charles Peter Mayinga and Centenary Bank Executive Director Joseph Balikuddembe.
The Executive Director of Centenary Bank, Mr. Joseph Balikuddembe, signed on behalf of Centenary Bank, while Remmie Kisakye signed on behalf of the Kingdom.
Addressing the press, Owek. Mayiga noted that "through this alliance, we want to develop people by changing their lives, and we want loyalty to be reflected in the conduct of this alliance on both sides so that people can achieve their goal.”
He added that the Kingdom is in the process of introducing sports such as kigwo, omweso, and other sports at the district level. We hope that Centenary Bank can invest so that people can develop their talents.
He urged Centenary Bank to think more about investing in sports, especially here in Buganda, because Buganda has a lot of potential to help Centenary Bank achieve its goals.
