Mukwenda, the county chief in a blue jacket, hands over a bicycle to one of the parish chiefs
The Buganda Kingdom provided 100 bicycles to parish-level officials in Ssingo County.
These bicycles were handed over by Mukwenda Deo Kagimu to the Gombolola (county) chiefs during a ceremony held at the headquarters of Gombolola Mutuba III in Bukomero.
The following areas received bicycles:
- Bukomero Mutuba III
- Lwamata
- Kikandwa Mutuba VIII
- Muwanga Mutuba XI
- Ssabawaali Kapeke
- Butemba Mutuba II
- Wattuba
- Mulagi Mutuba IX
While presenting the bicycles to Kabaka’s officials, Mukwenda urged the parish-level recipients to actively share information with Kabaka's people and encourage them to participate in all kingdom activities.

He also cautioned those involved in illegal land appropriation of Kabaka's land to avoid such practices. Mukwenda further encouraged the Kabaka's people to plant and nurture coffee trees diligently.
Additionally, Mukwenda announced that the Kabaka has allocated a nursery school to be built at the Gombolola headquarters in Bukomero, which is expected to begin operations in 2025.
The event was attended by the First Deputy to Mukwenda, Moses Tusuubira Nyombi; Second Deputy, Regiina Naseremba; as well as members of the Singo County leadership committee, including Treasurer Richard Kyambadde, Women’s Representative Agnes Nabulya Nkugwa, Speaker Nkotanyi, Head of Education Ssamwiri Ssebitebe, and Head of Community Development Emily Lakhan Namutebi.
