As part of the value investment, the Kingdom purchased 2 million shares in Airtel.
In his speech, Katikkiro stated that while many people believe that investing in rental houses, saloons, or taxis is a smart idea, stock trading is equally beneficial since you do not have to worry about losses.
Hon. Robert Waggwa Nsibirwa, the Kingdom's Second Deputy Katikkiro and Minister of Finance and Planning stated that the cooperation between the Kingdom and Airtel has provided several advantages, including improved health through the Kabaka's Birthday Run.
Airtel Uganda Managing Director Manoj Murali said that 8 billion shares were placed in the market at shs100 per share.
