Delegates from Buddu, representing sub-counties Mut. XV Kirumba, Mut. XXII Kitanda, and Mut. XI Lwabenge, along with representatives from Bulemeezi’s Mut. III Nnyimba, visited the Mengo Palace to present their contribution to the Kingdom's Luwalo initiative.

On behalf of the Katikkiro, Minister Israel Kazibwe Kitooke officiated the ceremony, joined by Minister Joseph Kawuki, in charge of Local Government Affairs.

Speaking at the event, Minister Kazibwe urged the people of Buganda to actively engage in all preparations for the Kabaka’s birthday celebrations. He also emphasized the importance of preventing HIV/AIDS, as he received the contribution of over UGX 26 million from the Buddu and Bulemeezi representatives.

Hajj Ssesaazi Siragye, the Second Deputy Pookino, led the delegation, accompanied by Minister Aisha Ssekindi, Uganda’s Minister for Water and Environment, and Hon. Kirabo Agnes, the youth representative in Buganda’s leadership.

The Kingdom expressed its appreciation for the continued support and encouraged people to remain committed to initiatives that promote unity, development, and cultural preservation.
