Katikkiro giving his keynote address

The Buganda premier, Charles Peter Mayiga, attended the Initial Public Offer (IPO) of Airtel, which was held at the Sheraton Hotel the previous morning. In his keynote speech, he talked about the following:

He said, "We all aspire to the best, including you. You develop and build yourself, and if you can't aspire to something, you can't achieve it."

We in the Kingdom paint a picture of people being healthy, eating well, raising children, sleeping well, treating themselves, not sleeping with goats, and enjoying our culture without being overwhelmed. That is what keeps us going every day to make Buganda come to the top.

We prefer partners like Airtel who understand us and support our aspirations, visions, and aspirations. It’s hard to have an ally without sharing ideas. That is why we are keeping the partnership with Airtel because they respect what we are proud of and support us so that we can achieve it.

He said that in a young country, we invest in what we are used to, such as rental houses, shops, salons, and schools, which is not bad either, but ask ourselves how our predecessors in investment did.

He urged traders to pay attention to the stock market and show determination, as it is also profitable.
