Youth Leadership in Buganda organises dinner for their Muslim delegation at K2 Restaurant in Bukesa

Prince David Wasajja, the patron of the Buganda Youth Council and the chief guest, encouraged the youth to uphold the Buganda decorum by emphasising patience and determination, especially in matters beneficial to the Kabaka's people and to avoid pursuing quick wealth as it is in not always acquired with clean hands.

Representing the Clan heads, Omutaka Kasujja commended the youths' initiatives and urged them to strengthen relationships through such endeavours. He also encouraged their involvement in clan initiatives.

Hon. Robert Sserwanga, Minister of Youth Affairs, called for unity among the youth to achieve success in all their pursuits. He also urged them to embrace and practise their religions without hesitation.

Omuk. Baker Ssejjengo, the youth leader of the Buganda Youth, announced ambitious plans for the youth leadership. Not only will they continue their annual tradition of assisting Muslims in breaking their fast during Ramadan, but they also aim to provide support to school-going children in various counties with school supplies. He expressed gratitude to all those who have contributed towards fulfilling their commitment to the youth.

This event was attended by dignitaries, including the revered heads of the clans, Omutaka Kasujja Kyesimba of the Engeye Clan and Omutaka Muteesaasira Tendo of the Engo Clan. Also in attendance were Oweek Mariam Mayanja Nkalubo, Oweek Israel Kazibwe Kitooke, Oweek Sulaiman Magala Katambala, and Oweek Rashid Lukwago, along with heads of various kingdom organisations, youth leaders, and other special guests.
