The main ceremonies were held at the Mengo Palace, where the King thanked God for protecting him to reach 30 years of ruling Buganda.

The king urged the youths not to leave the villages for the city, to avoid selling their land, and learn patience.
The King explained the importance of federalism to the people and said that in the federal system, every region will be able to develop so that Uganda as a country can also develop together.
He warned people to be careful because although we love the Kingdom, there are those who do not.
